How would you describe yourself?
The core foundation of the Christian faith is the Gospel (good news) message of Jesus Christ, which when one sincerely believes and accepts, makes you a Christian. One of Jesus’ followers, Paul the Apostle, summarises this gospel message in a letter he wrote to the early church of ancient Corinth in Greece, which is included in the Bible…
Maybe these verses already raise many questions in your mind about whether Jesus was who He claimed to be or not. Either way, surely if there is even the smallest possibility that there is an eternal, all-loving God who wants YOU to know Him….it is worth investigating for yourself? In the words of C.S Lewis:
“Who do you say I am?”
Most Christians start their journey to faith somewhere around this question – is Jesus who He claimed to be? Did He die and then get raised to life again? Although there are so many more questions about life, faith and Jesus, the answers to these questions are really what Christianity hangs on.
We firmly believe faith is not a crutch, is not wishful thinking, and is not contradictory to science or logic. In fact, we believe that philosophy, science and logic can all support the fact that it is possible to have a perfectly reasonable faith in Jesus. Yet, we also know that faith goes far deeper than rational thinking. It is about a living relationship with the eternal God, through the Lord Jesus Christ.
We would love to help you explore Jesus for yourself, discuss burning questions you have, and ultimately help you come to a point where you can decide for yourself whether to place your faith in Jesus.
