Individuals praying for the Church, Town & NationTime & Place of individuals' choice The Watchmen scheme involves 60+ Church members who have committed themselves to pray for one hour per week for the Church, town and nation. Each Watchman chooses the day of the week most suitable for them and may pray for a solid hour, or divide the time up into smaller units spread throughout the day. A4 sheets are provided for each day of the week. On one side is listed the Church activities taking place that day and the workers involved. On the other side are a few suggestions for prayer for the town and nation.
When Israel was attacked by Amelek (see Exodus 17), the work of Moses, Aaron & Hur who interceded on a mountain, was just as much needed for victory as was the work of Joshua who led the army of Israel into battle in the valley.
Every member of the Church is invited and encouraged to strengthen the hands of the leaders and workers by interceding for them on a regular basis through being a member of the Watchmen team. Come and join us!
