Open Door is a drop-in for asylum seekers on Friday afternoon. Lunch is provided between 1.00pm-2.00pm and individuals are helped with filling in forms (housing, job applications etc) and with general advice as well as with the opportunity to relax and to play games. There is a clothes store which is made available to all asylum seekers and they are encouraged to fill in forms explaining their 'needs' which the church endeavours to meet. Those who are given the right to stay are helped with housing applications and with decorating and furnishing their homes when they get one.
