Robert Reid, a Geordie (and unashamedly a Newcastle United supporter), is a lay pastor in the church and has been a member for over 25 years. He and his wife Eunice have four sons and number two, Michael, also ministers in the church.

Robert has been a faithful member of the church leadership for over twenty years, having held the positions of Deacon, Elder and Lay Pastor. He joined the leadership at a time when there were few people willing to carry responsibility in the church. He has remained a consistent leader through some significant periods of growth and development and has contributed towards the church being what it is today.

Actively retired, Robert often ministers alongside Eunice. They enjoy visiting faithful older members of the church. They are also involved with asylum seekers and with others from overseas. Robert is responsible for visiting and interviewing prospective new members. So if you want to become a member of the church Robert is the man to see.

Saved under Billy Graham's preaching many years ago, Robert has a heart to see lives changed by Christ and he is supportive of evangelism in this country and overseas.
